Ce septième chapitre, Fugues, naît dans la continuité organique du sixième chapitre intitulé Le Chant de la Terre et en prolonge l’élan vers un espace plus aérien. 

Souffle alors un vent de liberté. Nulle réflexion, nul jugement.

Une logique demeure toutefois … Telle la fugue musicale, où la mélodie semble s’échapper tout en répondant à une rigueur profonde, la fuite circule ici d’une voix à l’autre, d’un écho à l’autre. Dans cette suite picturale, elle glisse d’une peinture à l’autre comme un fil ténu. Chaque image porte la trace de la précédente et annonce la suivante, comme si la liberté elle-même obéissait à une forme. Ce passage continu invente un rythme intérieur, une pulsation où l’on perçoit à la fois l’appel de la fuite et l’exigence d’une cohérence secrète.

This seventh chapter, Fugues, emerges as an organic continuation of the sixth chapter, The Song of the Earth, extending its momentum towards a more aerial space.

A wind of freedom begins to blow. No reflection, no judgment.

Yet a certain logic remains… Like the musical fugue, in which the melody seems to escape while responding to a profound rigor, flight moves here from one voice to another, from one echo to another. In this pictorial sequence, it slips from one painting to the next like a fine, tenuous thread. Each image bears the trace of the preceding one and announces the one that follows, as though freedom itself were subject to a form. This continuous passage creates an inner rhythm, a pulsation in which one senses both the call of flight and the demand for a secret coherence.

Questo settimo capitolo, Fugues, nasce nella continuità organica del sesto capitolo, Il Canto della Terra, e ne prolunga lo slancio verso uno spazio più aereo.

Soffia allora un vento di libertà. Nessuna riflessione, nessun giudizio.

Eppure, una certa logica permane… Come nella fuga musicale, in cui la melodia sembra sfuggire mentre risponde a un rigore profondo, la fuga passa qui da una voce all’altra, da un’eco all’altra. In questa sequenza pittorica, scivola da un dipinto all’altro come un filo sottile. Ogni immagine porta con sé la traccia di quella precedente e annuncia la successiva, come se la libertà stessa obbedisse a una forma. Questo passaggio continuo crea un ritmo interiore, una pulsazione in cui si percepiscono insieme il richiamo della fuga e l’esigenza di una coerenza segreta.
