Visita privata a Palazzo Morosini del Pestrin, Castello, Venezia

En Janvier 2020, je m’installe pour peindre dans le Palazzo Morosini à Venise. Le but de mon travail était de ne pas en avoir, de faire, de découvrir, d’expérimenter et de m’adapter aux situations en y répondant sans m’interroger. J’y arrive aprés la terrible acqua alta et vis en quarantaine dans une Venise désertée et isolée, victime du virus.

In January 2020 I moved to paint at Palazzo Morosini in Venice. The goal of my work was not to have one, to do, to discover, to experiment and to adapt myself to situations by answering them without questioning me. I arrive there after the terrible high water and live there in quarantine in a deserted and isolated Venice, victim of the virus.

Nel gennaio 2020 mi sono trasferito a dipingere a Palazzo Morosini a Venezia. L'obiettivo del mio lavoro non era quello di avere, fare, scoprire, sperimentare e adattarmi alle situazioni rispondendole senza mettermi in discussione. Arrivo lì dopo la terribile acqua alta e vivo in quarantena in una Venezia deserta e isolata, vittima del virus.

“Je me suis arrêtée à la Tonnara di Scopello après plusieurs semaines sur plusieurs années passées à voyager à travers la Sicile, je décide de m’y installer en hiver, de relire Homère et de peindre au plus prés de la mer, sur de grandes toiles de lin libres.”

“Mi sono fermato alla Tonnara di Scopello dopo diverse settimane in diversi anni viaggiando per la Sicilia, ho deciso di stabilirmi lì in inverno, per rileggere Omero, dipingere vicino al mare e lavorare più vicino alla natura per sentire tutta la sua potenza. "
